For The Foodie

Edible’s 2017 Gift Basket Collection

This epic and locally sourced selection of curated gift baskets are sure to make an impression. All the goodies are nestled in a dark-stain wooden crate on rustic straw bedding, which gives that authentic farm-to-table feeling.

There are well over a dozen varieties, but my favourite is the “East Of Main” ($90). I’m a sucker for dark chocolate and this basket features a rare, high-quality selection of exactly that, including Bailey’s & espresso infused caramels and much more.

Looking for something on the smaller side? “Essential YVR” ($45) is delicious and very sophisticated.

An indispensable weapon in any serious bartenders arsenal. Bitters are concentrations of herbs, fruits and spices that create phenomenal aromas and flavour profiles in both food and beverage.

Bittered Sling was started up right here in Vancouver by a chef and an award-winning mixologist/sommelier. Their creations have gone on to win them top accolades in several international spirits reviews.

Noble Maple Syrup 2-pack

Salivating in front of the wall of maple syrups at Edible Canada is one of my favourite things to do. Noble’s Tonics sourced from Québec are easily my favourites. They blend beautifully into anything from coffee, to cocktails and crepes.

Noble Tonic 01 is aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels, which creates a richly complex, oaked flavour that takes old fashioneds to the next level.

Noble Tonic 02 is infused with real Tahitian vanilla bean and Egyptian chamomile, making it an elegant, floral addition to your favourite breakfast or gin cocktail.
